Other Projects
In order to deploy the model of the MEC to others, the staff members from the partner organizations are being trained by the MEC. They are giving basic teacher educator skills and education on health, dance and music therapy, need based family intervention model, management of community based rehabilitation programs. It is important that accountability of the projects is within the partner organizations, TdH-NL and the MEC only provides assistance in capacity building.
All projects are centered on children and mothers, independent from any religions or belonging to a cast, from extremely under-privileged backgrounds. The school is free of charge for the children and support is provided if needed to the families – which lose with the child going to school one possible income to survive. In the following section, you can read some examples among the 40 projects. All are in the domains of education, health and socio-economic development.
